India is the second largest producer of rice in the world. 3.It is a kharif crop and grows best in hot-wet climate. In Areas receiving low or less rainfall it grows with the help of irrigation facilities. it requires the temperature ,above25 degree celcius and annual rainfall above 100 cm.
