Socialization means the child's learning to participate in social roles. Hence, the main objects to be internalized by the child are the social roles themselves. ... Socialization consists of four stages from infancy to adulthood. They are- (1) The oral stage, (2) The anal stage, (3) The oedipal stage and (4) Adolescence.
