Explanation:

The restoring force per unit area is called stress and the change in dimensions per unit original dimensions is called strain

Stress = F/A

Elastic limit - It is the point in the graph up to which the material

returns to its original position when the load acting on it is completely removed . Beyond this limit , the material doesn't return to this original position  and a plastic  deformation .

Yield point - The yield point is a point at which the material start to deform plastically .

Permanent set - It is the deformation that stays in the material after the applied stress is removed .

Elastic Hysteresis - difference between strain energy required to generate a given stress in a material elastic energy at that stress.

Tensile Strength - It is the measurement of the force of wire.
