Advantages of Flowchart:

• The flow chart is the effective method of communication of the logic sequence to all concerned or involved.
• Reduces the cost, time and increases the effectiveness of analyzing any matter for that concern.
• This serves as a good documentation mode for programmes, in making the written things effective and purposeful.
• The system analysis phase and program development phase that shows blueprints or guides will be more patterned.
• The process of debugging happens over here.
• The help of efficient program maintenance becomes easy.  

Disadvantages of Flowchart:

• Complicated logical sequencing and a huge time are lost on understanding the sequence.  
• Even a small amount of alteration will require a repetition of the entire flowchart.
• The reproduction of the entire flowchart is tough.
