No,I dont the it brings any coniving explanation of archaeological evidence. Because,

This volume on the emergence of inequality brings a renewed perspective, through varied lenses, at questions surrounding the origins of modern human social organization. In 1995 we edited a volume entitled Foundations of Social Inequality, concerned with many of these same issues. Here we return to this fascinating subject, to unanswered questions, new ideas, and new directions of study and explanation.

Hope it helps you...

Answer:

There have been many views on the regional continuity model of humans.

Explanation:

According to the ‘regional continuity model’ of human, homo sapiens from different regions evolved into modern humans at different rates. There is wide variety of different races of humans in terms of their appearance, around the world according to this theory. Also, according to this theory, these differences are because of the difference between Homo heidelbergensis  which existed earlier and Homo erectus.

But this contradicts the archaeological evidence according to which earliest fossil of human being was found in Africa.
