  • Asanas essentially work to lubricate the muscles, joints, ligaments and other parts of the body. This helps to increase circulation and flexibility. They also help better the internal body health as different asanas work on different internal parts of the body.
  • There are so many benefits of doing Asanas and Yoga-
  • Sitting Asana- all siting asanas provide flexibility to the hips, knees, ankles and the muscles of the groin. These poses are naturally more relaxing as you are closer to the earth, providing a restful feeling and breathing smoother and easier. Sitting asana keep the spine steady, provide stability of the body and pacify the mind.
  • Standing Asana- standing asanas strengthen the leg muscles and joints and increase the suppleness and strength of the spine and body. The arteries of the legs are stretched, increasing the blood supply to the lower limbs, preventing varicose veins and thrombosis in the calf muscles. These asanas also tone the cardio- vascular systems, as the heart rate will naturally increase due to the system, as the heart rate will naturally increase due to the exertion required to maintain standing poses.
  • Forward Bends, twists, inversion, back bends, reclining asanas are some kind of asanas that benefit us.
