Both had different personalities, but Gerrard was more bright.

  • The question has been asked from the story If I Were You.
  • Gerrard kept to himself in a cabin. He had a sharp mind and a great sense of humour. He was very patient and adept at managing challenging circumstances.
  • One day, a stranger broke into his cottage with the intent to kill him
  • He was an excellent storyteller. He quickly persuaded the invader that he was a wanted criminal and that the police were after him. The intruder lacking wit easily believed him
  • One can learn from Gerrard's success in getting rid of the intruder by shutting him in the cupboard and from him not losing one's wit under pressure.
  • His intelligence, wit, and sense of humour kept him from losing it.
