Structured and unstructured problems Problems are blockage in one or more situations, which are unsolved questions that are difficult to be identified and handled. In order to achieve desired goals and purposes, these problems have to be recognised, solved and event be eliminated completely to avoid mew problems. There are two types of problems which are commonly faced by any organisations all around the worlds, which are structured problems and unstructured problems. Structured problems are the straight forward problems which can be determined and solved by repeating examination and testing on the problems. Unstructured problems are the difficulties introduced to an organization when facing unusual situation and their solution are different and sometimes unique. Structured problems Service speed In fast-food industries, the service speed is the time taken for a customer to get their food after placing an order. This is indirectly related to the overall retail sales of the fast-food restaurant. A fast-food restaurant which can serve the customers faster with good quality of food will definitely gain better reputation in fast-food industries. Both KFC and McDonald’s trains their workers regularly to avoid unneeded steps during food preparation, food ordering and food serving.
