Explanation:

nucleic acid is a type of polymer which is made up of small subunits called nucleotide .

each nucleotide has 3 components :

1-sugar, 2-phosphate ,3 N base.

SUGAR ,in DNA it is called deoxribose sugar and in rna it is called ribose sugar.

N BASE are of two type

1 -purine (contains adenine and guanine)

2-pyrimidine (contain cytosine, thymine, and uracil)

PHOSPHATE -H3PO4
