The Swadeshi Movement had a profound impact on the National Education prevalent at the time. The biggest contribution of the Swadeshi Movement was the creation of awareness among the students about nationalism and patriotism.

The first incidence of the disobedience of a government order was seen when the student community joined whole heartedly Indian 'Anti-circular' issued to prohibit the students from joining this protest rally.

The partition of Bengal in 1905 by viceroy curzhon to curtail the influence of Bengali politician and people, infuriated the people of Bengal and as a result Swadeshi movement came up. In the movement, the Indian people were encouraged to leave the British education centers and boycott the British cloth.
