Farming was done on large pieces of land during the medieval period.

Peasantry was divided into 2 seasons, spring and fall.

Crops such as barley and beans were cultivated during the spring season.

Wheat and rye were the main crops cultivated during the fall season.

The entire agricultural produce was sold in the market for earning income and only little was used for feeding the family.

Hey friend here is your answer..........................

1.During the late winter and early spring, vegetables were planted in the peasants’ gardens. Later in the year, in April and May, new fruit trees might be planted in the orchard.

2.Peas, beans and onions were grown in the peasants’ gardens (tofts). These vegetables were used to make a thick type of stew called pottage.

3.Apple and pear trees were planted in the orchard or in the peasants’ own gardens to provide fruit.

4.Berry bushes were sometimes also planted to ensure a supply of berries.

Hope this helps you
