Farming was done on large pieces of land during the medieval period. Peasantry was divided into 2 seasons, spring and fall. Crops such as barley and beans were cultivated during the spring season. Wheat and rye were the main crops cultivated during the fall season.

➡️During the Medieval periods, peasants were used for cultivating and irrigating lands. During middle ages, peasants used to follow a simple yearly cycle in which different tasks were performed by them during different times of the year.
•➡️ The yearly cycle was divided from January to December. In January they performed task of weaving and planting crops.
•➡️ In February the fields were ploughed and fertilizers were used for better cultivation. In March month they performed the task of Weeding, plouhing and sowing the fields.
