Hi✌️✌️

✍..

The crop pattern of the peasantry in the medieval period is self-sufficient and more based on personal holdings.

There was a concept of open field system practicing in that period of time. The cultivated lands have long and narrow strips of farmlands with distinctive ridge furrow pattern. In order to reduce risk, the farmer used to posses scattered strips.

There was a communal rotation of cropping. Three field pattern was practiced during that time where one planted in fall second in spring and then ones left fallow. Crops were barley and beans been cultivated in spring while wheat was prominent during fall.
