Growth of agriculture and its diversity depends on so many factors, these factors are divided into two types:

- Exogenous factors

- Endogenous factors

Exogenous factors are those factors which have an influence over the growth externally; these are caused by a place’s relationship with their places. For example

The growth of agriculture depends upon the combined effect of government policies, change in production portfolio and gross cropped area etc.

On the other hand, endogenous factors that affect the agricultural growth include farmer’s decision to change cropping style, practices that increase the profit. Other factors includes market availability, insurance and technology.
