It involves planning (ex. city/building evacuation plans), dealing with stakeholders, communicating to the public, coming up with agendas, advising businesses (consultant) and possibly being involved in policy making/decisions/advisory. If you love social sciences you should chose this. If you are into hard science ex biology, geography or chemistry you should choose environmental science instead.
