Answer: *In srilanka there were 18% of Tamil ppl , 7% of Christian and 74% of sinhalese.. Thus there was diversity having sinhalese as majority. As in Belgium the power was shared the situation here wasn't the same,. Sinhala was made the official language of srilanka and then preferential policies favoured sinhalese for govt. jobs and university positions.
