The rate of evaporation is affected by the following factors: Temperature: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in temperature. Surface area: The rate of evaporation increases with an increase in surface area. Humidity: The amount of water vapour present in the air is called humidity.

Hey,
Here is the answer:
FACTORS:
1) INCREASE IN TEMPERATURE:
If temperature increases more number of particles get enough kinetic energy to change into vapour.
Eg: Drying out the wet clothes in the sunlight.
2) INCREASE IN SURFACE AREA:
Evaporation is surface phenomena. If surface area increases the rate of evaporation also increase.
Eg: Drying out the wet clothes by spreading them out
3) INCREASE IN WIND SPEED:
With the increase in wind speed the particles of water vapour move away with the wind by decreasing the vapour content in the surroundings.
Eg: Wet cloths dry faster in windy day.
DECREASE IN HUMIDITY:
The air around us cannot hold more tha the definite amount of water vapour at a given temperature. If the amount of water in Humidity is already high, so the rate of evaporation decreases.
Eg: Wet clothes dry slowly in humid day
Hope my answer helps you :)
