(1) To opening an account in any bank, which has been authorised by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and obtain an account number.

(2) To obtain Import Export Code ( IEC) number from the Directorate General Foreign Trade (DGFT) or Regional Import Export Licensing Authority (RIELA).

(3) Next step is to register with appropriate export Promotion council.

(4) To get Registered with ECGC (Export Credit And Guarantee Corporation) in order to safeguard against risk of non payments.
