Dadabhai Naoroji wrote “ Poverty and Un-British Rule in India”. This exposed the nature of economic exploitation by the British. (ii) He also expounded the theory of “ Economic Drain”. This explained how the British were draining wealth from India to England making Indians poorer and poorer.
