So indo-china includes Vietnam,Laos,Camobodia,French came to indo-china with objective to civilise and modernise the people lived here.French made the indo-chinese people to join the world trade.The french in Vietnam , at first started to increase their rice production and build railway tracks for easy transportation.
policy maker like Paul Bernard thought the reason for colonisation is to build up the standard of their lives and thus their life will get modern which leads to increase in the business for the french.
