Heyy mate

Bonjour

Frictional electricity is another name for triboelectricity - electricity generated by friction .

It is most commonly associated with static electricity. Charge separation often occurs through rolling or sliding or collision, usually between different material.

Common example of frictional electricity and electrostatic charging including combing dry hair or sliding your shoes accross a carpet on a dry winter day.

Electrostatic charge can even occur through collision between particles of the same material that have different phrases. For example- falling droplets of liquid water and upward - blowing ice crystals within a thunderstorm, create a build up of positive charge in the upper portion of a thunderstorm cloud, and negative charge in the lower portion of the cloud.

Hope it helps uh
