Discuss the general properties of transition element of the first series

d- block elements are transition elements due to incomplete filling of d- orbital.
1st series elements are ;Sc , Ti , V, Cr , Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu , Zn
bt Zn is not considered as transition element because of incompletely filled d- orbital in their ions & elements
