The geographical and climatic differences between Iraq and London

Iraq is a country in Western Asia whereas London is the capital of United Kingdom, which is located in Europe. Iraq has a coastline measuring 58 kms on the northern Persian Gulf, There are two major rivers, Tigris and Euphrates flowing through Iraq. These rivers provide Iraq with fertile land. London, on the other hand, has only one major river, the Thames river, on which it stand, in the Southeast of England.

The climate of Iraq is mainly hot desert climate with dry summers, and short, cool  winters, because it is located between the Arabian desert, and the Persian Gulf.
