  • The training avenues are not found in every corner of the city. They are located in a few places with competition and affordability makes it difficult to take admission.
  • Taking good care of diet is another concern
  • The selection process is biased and favors the aspirants from big academies.
  • Gender biased sports industry make it difficult for females to pursue a career in this field.

However, government initiatives such as Khelo India has given impetus to this industry along with setting up of first sports university in Manipur.
