Answer:

In addition to producing larger quantities of food, the Green Revolution was also beneficial because it made it possible to grow more crops on roughly the same amount of land with a similar amount of effort. This reduced production costs and also resulted in cheaper prices for food in the market.

The green revolution was introduced in the late 1960. It brought a lot of differences in the traditional way of cultivation. It brought up many modern methods in cultivation. It introduced the HYV seeds ( high yield variety seeds ). It produced and gave a high yield compared to the traditional seeds. But HYV seeds promised good quality and a high yield only with the combination of good irrigation, chemical fertilisers, pesticides, and so on.
