According to thomson atom is whole as a neutral by his postulates but atom may contain charge and he also not able to explain the stability of atom

According to Rutherford the electron revolve around nucleus in a circular orbit. However when electron revolving in circular orbit, it goes into a acceleration and due acceleration, electron would radiate energy then finally it looses its energy and fall into the nucleus. If this were so, the atom should highly unstable and hence it not exist.

anjalikumari5th: I am not sure about the answer of drawback of thomsons model.
