according to the 74th constitutional amendment the local government at urban level is divided into three tyres i.e municipal corporation at Mahanagar municipality at Nagar and City council at nagar panchayat. after the introduction of the amendment there will be a separate financial commission to manage finances of local government and the the state have the responsibility to elect the government when and it is dissolved, they have to conduct election within six months of their dissolvement,
