The Mauryan Empire was Chandragupta Maurya Dynasty. Ashoka was Chandragupta Maurya grandson. Ashoka fought only one war that was Kalinga war. he fought only one war because in Kalinga he saw the Army's bloodsheds he become very ú upset and converted into b Buddhism. after entering into Buddhism he built & guest house and animal hospital and hospital. he become an poor man and went into village to see how they b leave without any discrimination.
