Human digestive system consists of a nine meters long tube called alimentary canal.parts associated with alimentary canal a follows mouth or buccal cavity, foodpipe or oesophagus , j-shaped stomach , small intestine , large intestine.mouth or buccal cavity consists of tongue and teeth tongue have taste buds which help us to identify the taste of different food items and teeth which are of four  types incisors,molars,premolarsand canines digestion of food starts in mouth because saliva breaks down food and it also make the food slippery so that we can easily swollow the food after mouth there is foodpipe or oesophagus food goes down from oesophagus to stomach by the help of peristaltic movement after oesophagus there is stomach which has gastric gland which secrete gastrick juice it consists of mucous , hydrochloric acid , pepsin after stomach there  is small intestine it the ending of stomach and opening of small intestine is called pyrolic sphincter
