The difference  between fundamental rights and directive principle of state policy are as follows :
 

Fundamental Rights

Directive principles of state policy

1. These are justiciable and can be enforced by the court.

1. These are non-justiciable and can not be enforced by court.

2. They are negative in nature as they put restriction on the state actions.

2. They are positive in nature as they give direction to state action.

3. They prevail in case of a conflict between the two. 

3. They do not prevail in case of a conflict between the two.

4. A law can be declared void if it is in contradiction to fundamental rights.

4.A law can not be declared void if it is in contradiction to directive principle.
