Marxist view on citizenship

Marx had dubbed the liberal democratic citizenship as 'bourgeois citizenship'. ... He argued that with the abolition of class divisions there will not be any need for the status of a citizen because the individual will have to face no political or legal institutions with which to negotiate all the time and live under.
