the main merits and demerits of using mirrors in building elevation are as follows
merits are as follows
we can have good and correct view of the interior and  exterior design and all it looks more attractive

demerits are
reflection of lights can take place ...due to which accidents can happen
cost is  high

MERITS:

  • Glass can be prepared into different shapes and sizes.

  • The mirrors used in elevated buildings are tough, reinforced and laminated glasses, so they provide safety to the building.

  • They make the building attractive.

  • Glass does not let water to pass through it. They reflect the sun's heat so that the interior.

  • becomes cool.

  • Glass does not rust in moist air.

DEMERITS:

  • It changes the concentration of drivers passing by the buildings.

  • Birds like sparrows; crows etc. get confused while flying across the buildings, so the mirrors elevation in the buildings is not eco friendly.

  • If any accident takes place we are unable to see the person inside due to reflection.

  • Some mirrors used in buildings are easily breakable.

  • When the mirrors break, the building loses its attraction.
