The people also had a high sense of health and sanitation. The people had prospered due their civic sense and their cooperation.

Inhabitants of the ancient Indus river valley developed new techniques in handicrafts. Stones were not used to build homes. Harrapa was the first town discovered. They used tools made of copper.
