Process of Appointment and Removal of Judges

Explanation:

Appointment:

The Chief Justice of a High Court is appointed by the President with the consultation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and the Governor of the State. The other judges are appointed on the will of President, Governor and the Chief Justice of High Court.

Procedure of Removal:

Article 124(4) of the constitution, President can remove a judge on proved misbehaviour or incapacity when parliament approves with a majority of  two thirds of the members of each house present for Impeachment(process of removal).
