Earlier beliefs - The Philosophical thought:

The earlier beliefs in society where mostly based on the pseudo beliefs such as existence of powers and the natural order of god. The description of these beliefs was hypothetical and led to development of philosophies thus generating the philosophical thought.

2. Scientific and social developments: With coming of Industrial revolution and development of science, technology and society people started to be more rational looking for science and logic, evoking rationalism.

3. The sociological thought: Development and technology and society also lead to the development of economy. As more and more, people became well off the level of education increased subsequently leading to development of the sociological thought.
