East India company had Services of men with exceptional abilities like Havelock Outram Campbell etc.
Britishers had more men money than Indians.
Some zamindars did not join.
Revolt was supposed to start on May 31 1857 but due to greased catridge incident began much earlier

there was no properly planning and they were not well organised.
they rising at different places were loose and unconnected as they dont attack at same time.
many people get back due to fear.
they have so old weapons but their opponents have well organised gun and cannon.
also ,Transportation role in it as revolutionaries have old vehicles like cycles
