Din-i Ilahi. Din-i Ilahi“the religion of God,” was a system ofreligious beliefs introduced by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1582 CE. Listening to these debates, Akbarconcluded that no single religioncaptured the whole truth and that they instead should be combined. Din-eIlahi emphasized morality, piety and kindness.
