Discuss the role of abiotic factors in living organisms?
Answers
abiotic factors play a great role in the life of living organisms because they directly affect the survival of organisms these factors includes wind water soil temperature etc
we all are directly dependent on water and nutrients for our survival and hence we can say that abiotic factors play a great role in organisms life
Abiotic factors are the non-living parts of the environment that can often have a major influence on living organisms. Abiotic factors include water, sunlight, oxygen, soil and temperature. Water (H2O) is a very important abiotic factor – it is often said that “water is life.” All living organisms need water.Biotic factors include plants, animals, fungi, algae, and bacteria. Abiotic factors include sunlight, temperature, moisture, wind or water currents, soil type, and nutrient availability.Abiotic factors come in all shapes and sizes. They can be as small as a rock or as large as the sun. No matter what its size, each abiotic factor plays an important role in an ecosystem. If one factor is removed or changed, it can affect the entire ecosystem and all of the organisms that live there.
