Gender Equality is the equality among all genders. They are given equal rights and perform equal duties/responsibilities.

Education of gender equality is teaching people about the crisis of gender inequality and the importance of gender equality.

Culture plays an important role in the education of gender equality. It is so because:

(i) Norms: Cultural norms are set according to the culture of the country. One must spread the knowledge and teaching while staying in the limits of the norms of the country/region.

(ii) Values: Cultural values have become obligatory in every society. One must not go against them. Hence, limitations of the society have to kept in mind.

(iii) Ideas: Every culture gives birth to ideas towards the society. Ideas of people are influenced by culture. It is very difficult to change those ideas.

(v) Gender Roles: Culturally, men and women are given roles based on their genders. While promoting gender equality, these gender roles must be noticed.

(vi) Rituals: Rituals are linked to culture and these rituals are also linked genders and their roles.
