There is very big role of election in democracy

As “ABRAHAM LINCON SAID”

“DEMOCRACY IS FOR THE PEOPLE,BY THE PEOPLE ,OF THE PEOPLE”

All the powers in democracy are in the hand of people .Indian constitution also says that this constitution is made by people. When people elect a representative it is in the hands of people to elect him in next elections or not.

Representative exercise the powers of people i.e they represent the power of people .That representative is not a leader of people but only the voice of common people who rule this country.

Elections are needed without elections people cannot exercise their power cannot put pressure on government. When you vote you are going to select your social image and to keep democracy safe elections are needed.

If there will be no elections it will be called dictatorship.why it is called democracy because people's are given right to choose their representatives and how will they choose through elections .When you give right to vote you give right to be free in democratic nation

While in communist nations thet say we are democratic but the people there can elect only one party.

In real sense elections=democracy.

Democracy is ruled by people through their elected representatives these representatives are elected through elections

“They are elected not selected”

Election is only way to keep democracy alive.
