Discuss the role of producer, consumer and decomposet of an ecosystem

Producer :- The green plants are called producers and they form the base of a food chain. They produce food with the help of minerals and salts from the soil in the presence of sunlight.

Consumer :- They are of two types

(1) Herbivores and (2) Carnivores

Herbivores get food from the producers and the Carnivores eat Herbivores to get food.

Decomposers :- When living components of an ecosystem, they are decomposed by the decomposers as they convert complex matter into simple soluble forms.
