The silk route in the medieval period was an important part of the world at that time, it connected most of the Middle East Asia as well as Greece, Romania, India and China, Travellers and traders came from many different regions In search of good products to sell them for a profit back to their place, many travellers such as Ibn batuta of morroco found India and China as peaceful and diverse areas and the traders soon also made products such as silk from China and indigo and textiles of India famous in Europe. This led to draw attention of many of those looking for a better place to live or conquer, and this is how silk route played an important role in colonization of India and China
