Nelson Mandela believed in equality and that every individual should be treated equally. He led the protests against apartheid in South Africa.

Nelson Mandela was part of the political party called the African National Congress and later he co-founded the ANC Youth League. He was imprisoned for life due to violent demonstrations against apartheid.
