Answer:" A String Of Beads" is about a governess named Miss Robinson who was invited to a dinner party hosted by the people she worked for, when one of the other guest was not able to attend. The tables conversation is about a pair of pearls another guest is wearing when one man notices the pair Miss Robison has on. They cannot believe she has a pair of pearls that look so costly when she is only a governess. The dinner is interupted when two men come to speak to Miss Robinson about the pearls she had on. The people at the dinner table then believed she was nothing more than a thief. However, she was not a thief there was a mix up at the store she purchased them from. They offered a nice sum of money in return for the pearls. She took the money and went on a trip to South of France where she met and married a very rich man.
