it was the one of the important feature of the Indian national movement.after the British divide Bengal into east and west on the basis of divide and rule policy.it divided the Hindus and Muslims it not only strengthen the feeling of unity among all the people.finally this movement lead to unification of the Bengal till the parition on of india-pakistan
