☆As the name says the empire emerged from today's Mongolia. It was started by the great Genghis Khan.

☆The empire emerged from the steppe land of central Asia. The barren land was home to the "horse-riders" as referred to the tribe of Mongols

☆The empire was founded in the year 1206. The empire was considered to be the largest land empire in world history.  

☆The Mongols had the tactical advantage over almost everyone because of the newly invented Bow & Arrow weaponry technology.
