"Silence is golden", it is a proven fact. Since, it is believed that silence covers lacking because if a person is silent, no one knows his caliber unless he talks. This way silent prevents you from getting into trouble a lot of times.

As far the workplace is concerned, you never know who is sincere to you and who is not. Since,  professional jealousy exists everywhere in the world. It is better to keep your secrets to yourself. Have good relation with everybody but not too friendly with anyone.
