The government is working very hard for the increase in the better life of the villages. The government has ensured many schemes related to the welfare of the people living in the rural areas. Some of the schemes are:

(1). It is mandatory to educated every child of the family.

(2). It is mandatory to built toilets and spread the awareness about the cleanliness of the village.

(3). It is mandatory to provide facilities regarding health.

(4). Mid-day meals are mandatory in every government school for the students.

(5). It is mandatory to provide safe drinking water to the community.

Land Reforms have also improved. Since a large percentage of Indian rural population is involved in agriculture, steps have been taken to provide them better cost for their crops, cheap and better quality fertilizers, better irrigation systems, etc.

More banks and post offices are being opened in villages to create employment opportunities for the people. Easier loan facilities have also been developed.
