Discuss the technique available to monitor the receivables with examples

There are two methods to monitor receivables which are the

(1) aging schedules and

(2) ratio analysis.

Ratio analysis is calculated through the formula of DOS = Accounts receivable at time/ Avg. daily sales.

This method helps in the removal of the drawback of DOS.

The aging schedule is a traditional method too.
