Yes the title "road not taken" is appropriate for the poem because the poet was the single traveller and being a single traveller he couldn't travel both the roads. he felt "sorry" for the other road which he was not able to take. Hence the title of the poem satisfied the poem

it is about the choices we make in our life ... sometimes we make a choice then regret for not taking the previous choice and we think what would have happened if I would have chosen the other path ....and sometimes we are happy with our choices. yes the title is appropriate for the poem because the poet alone cannot travel both roads .
